Program Description:

Duke in Chicago – Arts Entrepreneurship will be on hiatus for Summer 2019. Please check back for updates about when the program will be offered next.


The purpose of this interdisciplinary program is to enable students who are interested in the intersection of arts and business to learn how they can become arts entrepreneurs. For example, students will learn how to devise innovative ways to create, fund and market their work while developing their business skills to maximize creative opportunity. This program invites students interested in Markets and Management as well as all other artistic disciplines: visual artists, art historians, directors, filmmakers, playwrights, actors, designers, musicians, dancers, choreographers, performance artists, etc.
