Recommenders:

First, please make sure that you are using Firefox or the most recent version of Internet Explorer as your internet browser. These browsers are most compatible with the online application system.

Duke faculty and staff use the Duke Log In. Non-Duke users should log in through the Non-Duke Log In.

For Duke users, you will be taken to a Net ID log in page. Log in using your usual Duke Net ID and password. For Non-Duke users, your username is your full email address. Refer to the recommendation request email for your temporary password. If it has been more than 3 days, the temporary password will have expired. To be sent a new temporary password, click on “Forgot your password?” When you log in with the temporary password, you will be prompted to select a permanent password for yourself.

Once you have logged in, you will be taken to your Recommender Home. You will see a list of any pending recommendation requests, as well as a list of recommendations already completed. To access the recommendation form for an applicant, simply click on the applicant's name.

On subsequent visits, you can log in by clicking on MyGlobalEd located in the upper right corner of any page on the Duke Global Education website. On the following page, in the upper right corner, click on Duke Log In or Non-Duke Log In, depending on which type of user you are.

Log in Difficulties

Log in difficulties are often related to web browsers. If you are having difficulty logging in, try clearing your browser cache and cookies. To do this in Mozilla Firefox, go to Tools, Clear Private Data. Then try again.
